Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2014. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Education Qualification: Candidates should be minimum 10 th or equivalent. Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service in the Armed force of the Union of India and have passed Army Class-I certificate are eligible.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and medical examination.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft from State Bank of India or any other Nationalized Bank or crossed IPO from any Post Office drawn in favour of the “FA&CAO, South Eastern Railway, 11 Garden Reach Road, Kolkata-700043 payable at “KOLKATA”. (No Fee for SC/ ST, Women, minority communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians’ (Parsis), economically backward classes, PWD, Ex-Servicemen).
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates can send applications in the prescribed format along with self attested copies of all relevant certificates, one passport size photograph affixed enclosed in an envelope super scribed as “Application for Recruitment in Pay Band-I `. 5200-20200/- with GP `.1800/- South Eastern Railway” along with the community/ category as applicable through ordinary post to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, 11, Garden Reach Road, South Eastern Railway, 1st Floor, Bungalow No 12 A, Kolkata-700043 or can also be dropped in the box provided in the ground floor of same address on or before 25-11-2013 by 17.00 hrs and 10-12-2013 by 17.00 hrs for abroad & far flung areas.
